Blood glucose self-testing test strip for use with the Accu-Chek meter. Sturdy and easy to handle, it is equipped with a large Y-shaped suction area, referred to as Y-Easy Fill, which allows easy and safe application of the blood sample with a minimal amount, only 0.6 microliters, either by classical method or by AST method (drawing blood from alterative sites at the fingertip). Inside the strip are 8 gold electrodes that perform more than 150 automatic quality checks to offer the accuracy of the result. They can verify the integrity of the strip and reagents based on humidity and external temperature, any damage to the strip, and the amount of blood deposited, with error signaling in case of insufficient blood and the ability to redraw within 5 seconds. Each package of strips contains a Smart Code for coding, in which all the information about the characteristics of the strips being used is included. The strip bottle makes it easy to 'open and close thanks to a snap-on cap attached to the strip bottle. In addition, the desiccant is evenly distributed on the walls and provides better storage of the strips.
