Its usefulness is also universally recognized in dermatological therapy, as it brings about a restructuring (keratolytic, keratoplastic), sebonormalizing, and bacteriostatic effect on the superficial layers of the skin; these effects, together with its antipruriginous, procycatrizant, and soothing action, make Tabiano water effective in various chronic dermatological afflictions, such as psoriasis, eczema, and seborrheic dermatitis.
