Actinica
         Lotion

Medical device CE, class I. Lotion that protects against both UVB and UVA rays. It contains broad-spectrum photostable filters and is water-resistant. Actinica Lotion also has moisturizing properties to improve skin condition. The absence of fragrance and conventional polyethylene glycol (PEG) emulsifiers ensures that the fluid is well tolerated and can therefore be used on even the most sensitive skin.

Mode of use.
Apply a generous amount of Actinica Lotion every morning and throughout the year to all skin areas that are exposed to the sun during the day. Use Actinica before applying cosmetic products (let Actinica Lotion absorb into the skin for a few minutes). Repeat application after prolonged contact with water or when there is heavy sweating. Avoid direct exposure to the sun and wear protective clothing. Skin surface area varies from person to person; the figure below gives a rough indication of the dose to use. Use of a smaller amount may decrease the protective effectiveness.
For optimal product distribution and a pleasant feeling on the skin, apply a first dose of product to the face and repeat the application after 5-10 minutes. Caution: do not allow more than 10 to 15 minutes to elapse between the two applications. The directions for the amount of product to be applied to the face, scalp, etc. can be a reference for determining the dose needed for other skin areas. When using for the first time, it is necessary to press the dispenser several times to dispense the fluid; however, the first few dispenses do not provide the full dose. Press slowly to get the full dose.

Precautions for use.
Undesirable effects to any of the components of Actinica Lotion cannot be ruled out. Should irritation, rash, or sunburn-like reaction occur after brief exposure to the sun, this would indicate that the product generates undesirable effects. In such a case, treatment should be discontinued and a physician should be contacted. Avoid any contact with the eyes as Actinica Lotion may cause a burning sensation if it comes in direct contact with the eyes. If this occurs, rinse the eyes with plenty of water. It is also advisable to wear sunglasses with UV protection to protect the eyes.

Use in combination with mosquito repellent products
If using Actinica Lotion in combination with a mosquito repellent product, apply Actinica Lotion first. Wait about 20 minutes before applying the mosquito repellent product. In this case, consider that the protection offered by Actinica Lotion may be reduced.

Special Warnings
The UV photoprotective filters in Actinica Lotion can stain clothing, plastics, and other materials, such as pool liner films. Therefore, it is recommended not to apply Actinica Lotion immediately before dressing.
