Description
Alpha-lipoic acid, also known as Thioctic acid, is a potent endogenous antioxidant and is able to counteract the damage induced by free radicals, which are formed in greater amounts in altered health conditions (oxidoreductive stress) and are the main cause of cellular aging and reduced tissue function.
Alpha-lipoic acid is soluble in 'water and fat, so it acts as an antioxidant in both the aqueous and lipid phases, a characteristic that allows it to perform this activity in different cellular areas: membrane, cytoplasm, nucleus, and mitochondria.
Alpha-lipoic acid also promotes the regeneration of other endogenous antioxidants such as glutathione, vitamin C, and vitamin E.
It can be used in the treatment of:

Mode of use.
It is recommended to take 1 tablet once daily for a period of not less than 45-60 days, unless otherwise prescribed by a physician.
Tablets should be taken on an empty stomach.
