Product Description

FarmaCup

Description
Safe, eco-friendly and practical alternative to traditional internal tampons menstrual cup. It respects the body and the environment because it is hypoallergenic and reusable. Very economical compared to traditional tampons as well as very easy to use on any occasion, whether day or night, travel or sports. Manufactured from soft medical platinum silicone at 100% instead of absorbing menstrual flow, it collects it while respecting the body's natural balance.
It contains no latex, no phthalates, no substances of animal origin (BSE-TSE), no dyes, no fragrances, and no hazardous chemicals.
Small cup suitable for those under 30 years of age who have never had children, unless delivery was by cesarean section.
Large cup suitable for those who are over 30 and have had children by natural childbirth.

Mode of use.
Always wash your hands thoroughly before any operation. Check, both visually and by touch, the FarmaCup paying attention to the small holes on the widest circumference, which are essential to facilitate its removal and unlock the seal ; therefore, it is important that they are always clear. If necessary, remove any obstruction by passing a small needle through them. Sterilize the FarmaCup by immersing it in water and boiling it for at least 5-7 minutes. Be sure to fully submerge the cup in the water; this will prevent damage to the cup. Sterilization should be done at the beginning of each cycle.
After checking and cleaning you can proceed with the insertion of the FarmaCup; this operation is easy: if relaxed it will be even easier. For the first few times it may be necessary to practice a bit in order to find the most suitable position, both to insert and remove it, a practice that at first is recommended to be done during the last two days of the cycle where the flow is less abundant. To insert it, especially for very young women, it may be necessary to use a water-based lubricant or to insert it taking care to wet it with water. The correct placement is lower than a regular tampon.
For insertion, wash your hands with mild soap and fold the FarmaCup in half vertically, as if forming a "U," holding it between your thumb and forefinger. With your other hand, spread the labia majora gently and insert the "U" folded cup inside the vagina. It should be inserted so that it stops about one phalanx from the outside. Finally, check with your fingers that FarmaCup is adhered to the walls of the vagina.
For easy extraction, assume a comfortable position, possibly squatting and relaxing the abdominal muscles. Wash your hands with a mild soap and introduce your index finger and thumb into the vagina, pressing the cup at the base or, if necessary, insert a finger along the outer wall by helping with the stem or by contracting and relaxing the vaginal muscles that can hold the cup. Let one edge come out first and then the other, alternately tilting the two opposite sides of the FarmaCup. It is possible to hear a sound of the cup pulling away from the vaginal walls: this is the effect of the seal or vacuum cha must be released before pulling it out. If you should notice that the cup is resisting, do not be frightened but continue to relax. If the vaginal muscles are tense they will hold it further; there is no danger of the cup "getting lost" inside. Then pull the cup out gently by tilting it slightly; this will allow it to be pulled out easily without accidentally spilling the contents. Finally empty the cup into the toilets and, once thoroughly rinsed, this can be reinserted.

Warnings
Remember to empty, rinse and reinsert the FarmaCup every 4 to 8 hours, depending on the flow. To clean the cup, in addition to boiling it, you can also immerse it in a 5% solution of sodium hypochlorite (following the instructions provided by the manufacturer of that solution) and not exceeding the immersion time, which is normally about 10 minutes. Do not use harsh products that can damage the cup and cause irritation, especially corrosive products, essential oils and scented soaps. Do not put the FarmaCup in the dishwasher.
It is not a contraceptive method and that it does not protect against sexually transmitted diseases.
If you experience burning or pain during urination immediately pull out the cup.
If you have gynecological problems, consult your doctor before using FarmaCup.
The cup should be removed before each sexual intercourse but it is not necessary to take it out for urination or defecation.
Do not lend or exchange your FarmaCup with anyone.
Keep the FarmaCup cup away from pets.
Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS) is an extremely serious condition caused by a toxin of bacterial origin related to Staphylococcus Aureus. TSS is often associated with the use of traditional tampons. Its symptoms are akin to those of influenza and include: sudden high fever (> of 39°C), muscle aches, vomiting, headache, diarrhea, dizziness, fainting, and rash-like or sunburn-like skin rashes. If you experience any of these symptoms, remove FarmaCup and consult a Physician immediately.
If you have previously suffered from TSS, consult your doctor in advance before using the FarmaCup cup.
The stem should not give any sense of discomfort and it is important that it does not protrude from the vagina. Should it be too long for your body, it is possible to shorten it so that it reaches only to the edge, taking care to round off any edges that might be created as a result of cutting. The stem should be shortened only after you have determined with certainty that it is too long, then after you have used the cup several times. In the event that the stem is completely to be cut, it is possible to do so but only if you are sure that you can pull it out even without its help. The first clue that helps you know that the stem is to be cut is given by the discomfort you might have in sitting or walking. Cut a small piece at a time and test the length to avoid cutting the stem too short.
If Your FarmaCup is positioned correctly, there will be no leakage. In case it does, this may be due to its position, stem, fit, size.
