Enzyme supplement to aid digestion of proteins, carbohydrates and fats. MetaDigest Total is a digestive enzyme supplement of non-animal origin and therefore also suitable for vegetarian or vegan consumers. It contains a balanced blend of enzymes for the digestion of proteins, fats and carbohydrates normally found in a complete meal. The presence of lecithin helps to emulsify fats, and the presence of phytase aids in the breakdown of phytates present in a diet rich in vegetables that can counteract the absorption of certain micronutrients. The enzymes in MetaDigest total work independently of pH and thus already in the stomach. The formulation of MetaDigest total also contains dry ginger extract that can support digestive function.
