Indicated in all situations in which stimulation of the body's reactive capacities is useful: deficiencies in B vitamins; convalescence from surgery or debilitating diseases; anemias; vaccination treatments; states of immunodepression resulting from treatment with antibiotics, pesticides and chemotherapy; paresis and tetanus; stress of any origin; pregnancies; in young subjects and sporting animals to promote adequate muscle development; in elderly animals to counteract the muscle decay typical of old age.
The product is formulated in highly palatable tablets due to the flavoring action of high-quality animal protein derivatives and due to the use of B vitamins in the special protected form Rocoat, which ensures high stability and palatability.
Three classes of components are associated in STIMULFOS Pet Line: beta-glucans, phospholipids and the B vitamins (B1, B2, B6, B12, PP and Calcium Pantothenate).
Betaglucans belong to a class of biologically active natural compounds, known as BRMs (Biological Response Modifiers), which can positively affect the efficiency of the animal's immune system. Of great importance for their activity are their origin (which can be plant, bacterial, from yeasts or fungi, with great differences in quality and quantity and activity) and chemical and physical characteristics (solubility, structure, molecular weight and number of branches). MacroGard Biorigin beta 1,3/1,6 glucans are polysaccharides extracted from the cell wall of yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae with special technique that allows them to be concentrated while keeping their biological activity intact. The intestine is the organ that has the most extensive and pronounced immune activity: following oral intake, beta-glucans are able to interact with specific receptors present on immune cells in the intestinal mucosa, determining and modulating cytokine production, increasing leukocyte activity (phagocytic activity) and stimulating antibody production.
In STIMULFOS Pet Line there is a specific source of phosphatidic acid-rich phospholipids, derived from soybeans, characterized by high bioavailability and purity and obtained by natural enzymatic methods without the use of chemical extractive methods. Phosphatidic acid is the simplest membrane phospholipid and is also the key intermediate for the synthesis of all the other more specific phospholipids (phosphatidylcholine, phosphatidylserine, phosphatidylethanolamine, and phosphatidylinositol), which are priority constituents of cell membranes; as a component of membranes, phosphatidic acid accounts for 1-4 % of the total cellular phospholipids. Of relevant importance, and discovered only in the last 10 years, is also the activity of phosphatidic acid as a lipid mediator at the cellular level; as such it mediates and regulates several fundamental biochemical processes involved in cell viability, growth, and proliferation, as well as in responses to endogenous hormones and organic and physiological stresses of all kinds. The Phosphorus intake per tablet due to phosphatidic acid (0.25 mg/5 kg p.a.) is negligible even compared to the minimum dietary intake of a specific diet for chronic kidney disease (200 mg/5 kg p.a.).
STIMULFOS Pet Line contains the B-complex vitamins in high concentrations, much higher than the minimum requirements recommended by FEDIAF (Fédération européenne de l'industrie des aliments pour animaux familiers); in STIMULFOS Pet Line these vitamins are associated to stimulate cellular metabolism and compensate for conditions of deficiency or increased requirements in situations of metabolic stress, to keep intact and efficient all coenzyme systems that use these vitamins. Vitamin B1 is able to act favorably on the nervous system, myocardium, in situations of stress and intense muscle work. Vitamin B2 intervenes in biological oxidation processes by promoting normal cell trophism. Vitamin B6 intervenes in protein metabolism especially in the bone marrow and nervous system, liver and skin. Vitamin B12 enters the constitution of coenzymes essential for cell growth and replication especially in hematopoiesis, the central and peripheral nervous system, and the liver. Vitamin PP plays a key role in numerous oxidation-reduction reactions essential for tissue respiration. Pantothenic Acid is a cofactor in the enzymatic reactions of oxidative metabolism of carbohydrates, in the synthesis and degradation of fatty acids, and in the synthesis of sterols and steroid hormones. Its deficiency results in signs of neuromuscular degeneration and corticosurrenal insufficiency. Finally, in STIMULFOS Pet Line there is Vitamin E, which, thanks to its antioxidant properties, protects the membranes of the body's cells by sequestering free radicals and preventing their propagation.

Mode of use.
One tablet per 5 kg of animal weight once a day.
The daily dose may be doubled depending on the animal's condition and the advice of the veterinary doctor.
To be administered for at least two weeks.
The palatable tablets can be administered directly or shredded into a bit of palatable food.
Tablets are divisible into four parts to facilitate weight adjustment: place the tablet on a flat surface with the side bearing the fracture lines facing upward; apply pressure with your thumb to the center of the tablet to achieve division into 4 quarters.
