Stopper

Medical device CE 0426, class IIa. Stopper is effectively used in cases of accelerated intestinal transit (acute and chronic diarrhea), in the presence of ileostomy or ileoanoanastomosis or in the outcomes of digestive tract surgery, including obesity surgery, in cases of diarrheal alvo from irritable bowel, in cases of "traveler's diarrhea," or to improve fecal continence in the presence of fluid alvo. Lemon flavor.

Ingredients
1 sachet: 3.00 g Diosmectite.

Mode of use
The amount of Stopper to be taken daily is variable and depends on the individual condition of the Patient and/or the advice of the Physician. Indicatively:
- In acute diarrhea, 1-2 sachets after each discharge;
- in fecal incontinence and chronic diarrhea, 1 to 3 sachets daily, starting with 1 sachet and increasing the ration gradually to prevent an unbalanced increase in fecal consistency.
The product is in oral suspension, already dosed, so it can be taken as is or diluted in an equal amount of water.
Recruitment in childhood:
- Children older than 6 years: 2 to 3 sachets daily;
- Children older than 1 year: 1 to 2 sachets daily.

Interactions
Cardiac glycosides, alkaloids, estrogens, chloroquine, clindamycin, digoxin, lincomycin.

Warnings
Take the product at least 2 hours before or 2 hours after medications, particularly during therapy with the above medications. If the symptom does not regress consult the Physician.

Side effects
Constipation.

Pregnancy and lactation
Only if necessary and after consultation with the treating physician.

Diabetic people
Admitted.

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to Diosmectitis. Diarrhea secondary to pseudomembranous enterocolitis and in general to severe organic disease of the gastrointestinal tract.
