Description
A band of soft, comfortable material with special patented cells containing natural components (iron, charcoal, salt and water) that develop heat when in contact with oxygen in the air. When applied for 8 hours, ThermaCare's constant heat provides prolonged pain relief for up to 16 hours*.
Prolonged heat at constant temperature increases blood circulation in tissues, producing pain-relieving effects and relaxing muscles, as:
- brings more oxygen to damaged tissues, helping the muscle return to its healthy state;
- stimulates nerve endings, which are sensitive to temperature, interrupting pain transmission and thus promoting muscle relaxation.
Effective and targeted against muscle and joint pain due to muscle fatigue and tension, sprains, strains, and arthritis.
Suitable for chronic and occasional pain.

Mode of use.
Open the wrapper when you are ready to use it. ThermaCare can take up to 30 minutes to reach its therapeutic temperature. Remove the protective paper from one of the adhesive tabs. Place on the painful area with the darker part of the cells facing the skin and press the adhesive tab firmly against the skin. Remove the protective paper from the other adhesive tab and press firmly onto the skin. For maximum effectiveness, it is recommended to wear ThermaCare for 8 hours.
The product can be thrown away hot or cold in normal household waste.

Warnings
Do not use in case of:
- If cell contents leak out and/or the band is damaged;
- With medicated creams or ointments, patches or other heat sources;
- On scratched or excoriated skin;
- On bruising and swelling that has appeared in the past 48 hours;
- On body areas insensitive to heat;
- by people who are unable to follow all instructions for use or who are unable to remove the product themselves, including children and the elderly who are not self-sufficient.

Seek your doctor's advice before use in cases of diabetes, circulation problems, heart disease, rheumatoid arthritis, and pregnancy.
This product can cause sunburn. To reduce the risk:
- Check the skin periodically for signs of irritation or sunburn and, if any are found, discontinue use immediately.
- Should excessive heat sensation be experienced, discontinue use or wear ThermaCare over an article of clothing, not in direct contact with the skin.
- Above 55 years of age, the risk of sunburn increases with age, wear ThermaCare over an article of clothing and do not use the bandage when sleeping.
- To avoid an increased risk of burns, remove the product before undergoing MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) examinations.
- When using for the wrist, be careful not to overlap the cells.
- Do not use for more than 8 hours within 24 hours.
- Do not put excessive pressure on the worn product.

Discontinue use and consult a physician if you notice discomfort, irritation, burning, swelling, redness, or any other persistent change in the skin in the area where you have worn the product or if the pain increases or remains unchanged after 7 days.
The heat-generating cells contain iron (about 2 grams). If the iron comes in direct contact with the skin or eyes remove the band, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical advice immediately. Also in case of accidental ingestion consult the doctor.
Keep out of reach of children and pets.
Avoid heating the product in any way (e.g., microwave oven) or trying to heat it, as the band may catch fire.
Do not use beyond the expiration date indicated on the package and label.
