Probiotic dietary supplement that promotes the balance of intestinal flora.
VSL3 is a mixture of live, freeze-dried lactic acid bacteria and bifidobacteria. Eight different strains of bacteria were selected, cultured in specific culture media and then mixed in proportions to optimize the functionality of the product.
Each capsule contains 112 billion viable bacterial cells.

Ingredients
Maltose; mixture of lactic acid bacteria and live bifidobacteria: Streptococcus thermophilus BT01, Bifidobacterium breve BB02, Bifidobacterium longum* BL03, Bifidobacterium infantis* BI04, Lactobacillus acidophilus BA05, Lactobacillus plantarum BP06, Lactobacillus paracasei BP07, Lactobacillus delbrueckii subsp. bulgaricus** BD08; hydroxypropylmethylcellulose capsule, corn starch; anti-caking agents: magnesium stearate, stearic acid, silicon dioxide; bulking agent: microcrystalline cellulose.
Free of synthetic dyes and sweeteners.
It does not contain allergens from the soybean nor proteins of the milk.
*Recently reclassified as. Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis.
**Recently reclassified as. Lactobacillus helveticus.

Without gluten and without lactose.

Mode of use.
The recommended dose is 1-2 capsules per day. For the correct dosage in children, consult your doctor.

Warnings
Keep out of reach of children under three years of age. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. The product, as a dietary supplement, is not intended as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and healthy lifestyle.
The product contains live, heat-sensitive lactic acid bacteria and bifidobacteria; therefore, it is recommended to avoid exposure to heat sources or temperature changes and to store it in a dry place, away from light and at a refrigerated temperature.
No adverse effects due to ingestion have been reported. In some cases, abdominal bloating may occur in the first few days of taking the product, particularly if the diet is high in carbohydrates and fat. This effect is transient.

Conservation
It should be kept at a refrigerated temperature (2°- 8°C) and away from light.
However, the product can be stored for one week at room temperature (maximum: 25°C) without significant changes in the number of viable bacteria. The minimum shelf life indicated on the package refers to the product properly stored, in unopened packaging.
